Preetika Rao to dazzle the audience with her kathak performance!

She has charmed the audience with her pretty looks and gorgeous smile, She has won our hearts with her acting skills and allured us with her melodious voice and now Preetika Rao is all set to delight the audience with her dance performance.

Yes, Preetika recently shot for the upcoming Life Ok's Diwali Special Event 'Prem Ki Diwali', in which she gave her first ever stage performance. She had to come across quite a few challenges during her performance. She was supposed to perform along with Elli Avram and Mukti Mohan on the stage. So let's hear it from the diva herself, about her performance and the challenges she had to overcome.

Preetika revealed, "Elli and Mukti are dancers while I am not! While Mukti had to do Salsa and Elly had to perform on Hip Hop, I had to do Katthak. It was a big challenge for me to absorb the steps of Katthak in a short span of time and perform on the stage. I have not learned Katthak before and it was my first stage performance. It was not pre-choreographed and we had to perform almost on the spot. I met Mukti and Elli for the first time on the stage itself, and both of them are good dancers. It was a challenge for me to match up to them. While they were dancing with their stilettos, I had to dance bare feet. The first two days of the rehearsals were physically painful for me - from shoulder to ankle."

Despite of so many hardships and challenges, Preetika managed to perform well and she further added, "The outcome was good. People have liked it and they told me that It didn't look like, as if I have never learned Katthak before. They really liked my Indian look. I enjoyed this act and I wish to do more acts like this in the future."
