Preetika Rao and Harshad Arora to be felicitated with the prestigious Kalakar award in Kolkata!

Television’s one of the most adorable and much loved actors Preetika Rao who portrayed the character of Aaliya and Harshad Arora who was seen essaying the character of Zain in Colors’ popular show Beintehaa, will soon be felicitated in Kolkata with a very prestigious award.  

We heard that, Harshad Arora and Preetika Rao will be receiving the very prestigious jury award Kalakar Award in Kolkata. This is a prestigious annual award which happens in Kolkata every year where the skills of these celebrities from Bollywood and Television are felicitated. Harshad and Preetika who rose to fame with Beintehaa which was their debut show will be receiving this jury award for Best Actor and Actress for the year 2014. The award event will happen in Kolkata next year in January.

An elated Preetika told us, “It’s extremely honorable for me to win the best actress award so soon in my Television career. It’s been just 11 months and I am already going to be felicitated with such a prestigious award. I am really looking forward to it." Preetika is also looking forward to meet all her fans in Kolkata in a Meet & Greet event which will be organised by her PR. She adds, "I have lots of fans in Kolkata who keep messaging me that they want to meet me. So, I am looking forward to my visit."

Sharing his happiness on receiving this prestigious award, Harshad told us, “It’s a very nice feeling to receive this prestigious award. It’s going to be our first jury award. I am feeling blessed to achieve this. This would be a motivation for me to perform better in future.”
