Pravisht Mishra on Barrister Babu going off air: The first reaction was of course disappointment
Pravisht, who plays the role of Anirudh Babu on the show, spoke to India Forums in a brief conversation about the show going off-air and if the low TRPs concerned him, especially when there are other shows with lower TRPs still running on TV.

Barrister Babu on Colors has been grabbing a lot of attention in the recent times and while the show is slated to go off-air next months, fans of the show as well as actor Pravisht Mishra have been hoping for an extension for the longest time now. However, the show will be going off-air after all and replacing it will be Sirf Tum, featuring Vivian Dsena and Eisha Singh.
Meanwhile, Pravisht, who plays the role of Anirudh Babu on the show, spoke to India Forums in a brief conversation about the show going off-air and if the low TRPs concerned him, especially when there are other shows with lower TRPs still running on TV. Ask him what was his first reaction on the news and if it is still sinking in, and he tells us, ''Yes, the feeling is still sinking in and I am still trying to process that. The first reaction was of course disappointment and sadness, but the immediate reflex thought was everything has to end for something better to start, so just acceptance as a whole.''
Many have spoken about how there are different shows with lower TRPs and if that affects him at all, and he tells us, ''I feel that as an actor, I should only be thinking about performing and outperforming myself and doing better each day and not getting into the commercial bit of it. There are people and much smarter people for that and I should allow them to do their work.''
Meanwhile, the current track of the show revolves around Anirudh going missing while Bondita is pregnant. Batuk has taken Anirudh’s place as he looks exactly like him. In addition, Tapur and Somnath are coming closer.

I hate colors😡 This channel only cares about its profit. It’s known to end a lot of shows. If Barrister Babu was on a different channel, it would still be on air 😞 It should have been on Zee TV, Sony or Star Plus just not colors 😡 I feel very bad for Pravisht, Anchal, Rishi sir, Mangesh sir and all the other cast members/crew members who put in so much efforts to make this show what it is today. Colors seriously doesn’t deserve such a gem of a show. However, I still feel there’s hope. We should continue watching it on tv. Who knows, maybe the TRP might drastically increase and that greedy channel can change there decision 😡 but worse case scenario if it does go off air, I would love to see Pravisht and Anchal on another show again😍 They had an amazing chemistry on the show and can pull it off again on another show❤️

Colors is actually in a greedy era right now where they are doing whatever it can take to beat Star Plus. However, it won't happen. They only are getting early evening leadership due to a lack of stellar content on Star from 5:30-7, but just wait. They'll beat Colors hard.

Feeling Very Sad for Pravisht as well BB team. They have been working day n night hard for this unique show. But Alas ITV is only care about TRP!! Of course why not be,,after all ITV craving for commercial profit along with channels and nothing else. Actually People love family drama more than anything like relevance. I must say like that many show specially Sony TV shows are really very underrated.🙂Go on People,it’s the real world. Wish BB team a great future Ahead.
