Responding to the same, filmmaker Prakash Jha said in an interview, “Who am I to make a judgment on their demand? We had 400 million-plus views for the first season. I think viewers are the best placed to decide on ‘negative goodwill’. Shall we leave it to them?”

The past few hours have witnessed quite a topsy-turvy time for actor Bobby Deol, filmmaker Prakash Jha and the series, Aashram. As we know, the Karni Sena went on to have gotten into action against Jha's hit series, Aashram that is currently streaming on MX Player. The series has been really well received by the viewers and trailer of Season 2 of the show just went live.
According to the Karni Sena, the series is an insult to the Hindu religion. They have sent a long legal notice to Prakash Jha stating, among other things, “The said web series have(sic.) deeply hurt the sentiments of the people at large and it is also going to spread negative goodwill(sic.) about Hindu religion on(sic.) future generations to come.”
Now, responding to the same, filmmaker Prakash Jha said in an interview with SpotboyE, “Who am I to make a judgment on their demand? We had 400 million-plus views for the first season. I think viewers are the best placed to decide on ‘negative goodwill’. Shall we leave it to them?”
We wonder what will be the scenario with the show or the updates pertaining the complaint.
