Prachi Desai on an emotional high

As Prachi Desai’s shoot on the set of Kasamh Se winds up and her long running saga as Bani comes to an end, the gorgeous actress is on an emotional high. And not just because of the end of her innings in Kasamh Se but also as recently her team – Masti Ki Pathshala was eliminated from 9X’s reality show Vodafone Yeh Hai Jalwa. It really doesn’t seem like a good week for the cute girl of Indian television.

Talking to the Telly Buzz team about her elimination Prachi says, “I am feeling really bad for my team. We never expected something like this to happen and were already planning for our next performance. Though I don’t want to give any excuse, but the fact is that the voting lines were closed in 4 hours instead of 24 hours that day and neither I nor my fans were aware of it. Even my mother could not vote for me.” But Prachi was very sportive about her elimination and accepted that winning wasn't everything; she and her team learnt a lot being on this show.

So what happens now that she is no longer in Yeh Hai Jalwa as well as Kasamh Se? Prachi replies, “I just finished shooting for my movie Rock On this week, and I am very happy with the way things have shaped up. In fact I had a blast shooting for the movie. You will have to watch it in August and let me know how you’ll like my work.” So does that mean we won’t see her on television anytime soon? Prachi quips, “As of now my producers want me to don a fresh look for the movie and hence don’t want me to take up anything on television. I will be doing only a few dance shows and ads for now.”

On an ending note, Prachi says, “I know my fans are disappointed with me since I am quitting Kasamh Se, but I’d like to take this opportunity to tell them that I will always be there for them and trust me, I will be back with a bang.”
