Post Cancer, will Sonali Bendre return on screens? Goldie Behl answers

News of Sonali Bendre being diagnosed with high-grade cancer broke out in July 2018 and left everyone shocked in Bollywood including her fans. Soon, the actress flew to the US for treatment and after a long fight with the disease, Sonali returned to Mumbai by the end of last year. Since then she is doing well and fans are happy to see her getting recovered.

Also, fans are keen to know when she would make a comeback on the screen. Her husband Goldie Behl recently opened up on Sonali's return and hinted that it will happen soon. In an interaction with Zoom TV, Goldie said, "Definitely. I think you should be expecting her. She is doing very well and she is recovering very well." 

On the professional front, Sonali's last on-screen performance was in the 2013 film Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara. The actress made a special appearance in the film.

Earlier during a media interaction, Sonali opened up on the idea of working again. She had said, "I have reached a stage in my life when say I don't know if I will work. I don't feel insecure saying it. I don't know what I am going to do next. Will I act in movies? Maybe. But there is definitely something out that there that I have to do, I wouldn't be here otherwise. There is some purpose to it and I will find it. I will wait for it to show itself."

It will be great to see Sonali making her on-screen come back soon.
