Posham Pa Trailer : A Spine-Chilling Tale of Two Sisters and Their Childhood Game

India’s one of the fastest-growing OTT platforms, Zee5 has been keeping the audience hooked with fresh and engaging content. After catching the attention with hard-hitting web series and movies like Kaafir, The Final Call and Hutatma, Zee5 is all set to add more thrillers in the list. The platform recently caught everyone’s attention with its latest launch Barot House. Now, Zee5 has finally unveiled the first trailer of its thriller movie titled Posham Pa, which is set to release on 21st August.

Posham Pa is inspired by the life story of the first woman sentenced to death in Independent India. The story of the film revolves around a psychologically disturbed mother who coerces her daughters into the life of crime. The daughters are now facing the death penalty for committing violent crimes and spieling their life story to two documentaries.

About the Trailer

The trailer starts with Mahie Gill asking her daughters to keep their secrets within the walls of their home. It is then revealed that Sayani Gupta and Ragini Khanna, daughters of Mahie Gill in the film, have been sentenced to death for killing 15 children. The movie is set in the early independence period wherein two people are trying to find out the real reason behind their grave actions. Further, it shows how their mother and father taught them a game called Posham Pa. The trailer raises a question whether they really deserve the death penalty?

Highlights

The visuals are amazing and it will definitely give you goose-bumps. The trailer featured glimpses of some violent scenes, which might shake you for a moment. The Posham Pa song which the sisters are singing adds to the thrill. The concept looks pretty intriguing and it will grab your attention for sure. Mahie Gill’s and Sayani Gupta’s half bald looks were other highlights of the trailer.
