Poonam Pandey's husband arrested for allegedly assaulting her

Sam Bombay, Poonam Pandey's husband, was arrested by Mumbai Police after the actress complained that he assaulted her. 

According to ANI, the actress was admitted to a hospital following the filing of the complaint. Her head, eyes, and face were all injured. 

"Sam Bombay has been charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The actress sustained severe injuries to her head, eyes, and face "According to ANI, the Mumbai police said. 

This is not the first time the actress has accused her husband of assault. Sam was previously arrested for assaulting Poonam in Goa last year, just days after their wedding. Pandey had filed a police report alleging that her husband had molested her and threatened her with dire consequences after she had been assaulted. The incident occurred in the village of Canacona in south Goa, where the couple was reportedly preparing for a film shoot. Sam Bombay was charged with violating Indian Penal Code Sections 353 (causing hurt), 353 (insult), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 354 (outraging modesty). 

The actress filed a domestic violence complaint against him. Poonam soon reconciled with Sam, saying, "What marriage does not have its ups and downs?" 

Poonam and Sam reportedly lived together for about two years before marrying on September 1 in a low-key ceremony at their Bandra home. "Here's looking forward to seven lifetimes with you," she wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo from their wedding.
