Pooja Banerjee says 'NO' to kissing on-screen!

Actress Pooja Banerjee, who recently got engaged to national level swimmer Sandeep Sejwal, recently got the script of her show Nagarjun - Ek Yoddha altered. And before you start thinking on the lines of tantrum throwing, let us clarify that there was nothing of this sort.

One of the upcoming scenes in her show required Noori, her character to kiss Arjun (Pearl V Puri). And it was just not a regular kiss but a proper lip lock. The scene in question was that of Arjun and Noori's first night which included a lip lock and a full 'suhaagraat' sequence.

But Pooja had certain inhibitions regarding the same. The recently engaged actress was quoted in a leading daily as saying that her fiance would have been uncomfortable with her getting intimate on screen.

She went on to say that her fiance was fine with choice of career but would not be able to understand the need for such scenes in the show. Also, Pooja added that she did not want to put her in-laws and would be husband in a tight spot.

Pooja requested and the makers obliged and re-wrote the scenes.
