Pooja Banerjee faced partial memory loss after the traumatic incident on Nach Baliye 9

Actress Pooja Banerjee, who is currently seen playing the character of Nivedita Basu in Star Plus show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 recently entered dance reality show Nach Baliye 9 with her baliye Sandeep Sejwal as a wild card entrant. The couple gave a spectacular entry performance, but in the second performance, Pooja suffered a severe injury in her leg and hand in an unfortunate mishap during the performance. Pooja was immediately rushed to the hospital and found out that she won’t be able to get up for a few days. 

The good news is that, the actress is recovering from her injury now and has been discharged from the hospital. However, in a recent interaction with Spotboye, Pooja revealed details of her injury and her traumatic experience. Speaking about her injury, she revealed, “I don't remember anything from that moment as I had a partial memory loss after that. The last I remember is the excruciating pain after I hit the floor. Sandeep showed me a video, where I can see myself dancing and the next moment I fall.  It was very shattering for me to see it because even today, I can't recall anything. I had a short time memory loss after I fell down from the stage.” 

Elaborating further she said, “I was in the ambulance, feeling all dizzy. I couldn't understand what was happening and where was I being taken. But after I got admitted and was given heavy painkillers, I gradually came to my senses and was told that I have multiple fractures. I got a couple of CT scans done too. Thankfully, medically it was all fine. But according to the doctors, because the accident was huge and painful, I have had a memory block about it, hence I don’t remember anything.”
