The upcoming channel REAL TV has a unique reality show called Poker Face and Sharman Joshi will be anchoring it.
Poker Face, produced by Miditech is a power packed, fun filled show that makes ordinary people real heroes. For the first time in a quiz show, it does not matter how many answers you get right, you can still be in, with a chance of winning the jackpot of Rupees 1 Crore if you can keep a Poker Face. Each episode will have contestants from varied backgrounds pitted against one another. From good bluffers like lawyers and actors… to risk takers like stock brokers… From young students and housewives who are in need of money… to astrologers and members of the MENSA… each contestant will be strikingly different from the other. The only thing common amongst them is the ability to hold their nerve while keeping a Poker Face. The show has not even started, but the channel and production house are planning to have a come back with its second season too.
"For now we have decided to have seasons for the show. There will be a second season after the first ends," says Gitanjali Murari, Head of Content, REAL.
Will Sharman be the host of the next season too? "Yes he will be there for the next season also. We will see as to how the show and its format works, and then will decide of the number of seasons we will have," she adds further.
"The show is of 14 episodes, and that's the reason I have taken it as it consumes less time. I'm happy anchoring the show and hope people like it," states Sharman Joshi.
As of now, if the first season is successful, let's go for another one!!! How real is this...
