"People started spreading rumors that Zeb and I Have Gotten Married" Aditi Sajwan

Rumors are a part of every actor's life. In fact, we can say an actor's career is incomplete without a spark of rumor. 

Today hence we bring to you the beautiful actress of SAB TV's Chidiya Ghar, Aditi Sajwan sharing her hilarious take on a buzz in our Wednesday rumor section!

At the time when I was doing Jai shri Krishna and Meera, I stayed out of Mumbai for two to two and a half years. And my boyfriend Zeb Khan and I had started dating. News of our affair had traveled to Mumbai also and people knew about it. After Krishna got over, I came back in town for just a month and again went to Baroda for Meera. So I was actually in Mumbai for a very short time. So people started spreading rumors that Zeb and I have gotten married and have settled because of which I am not seen in my house. Whereas thye fact was that we were simply busy shooting 2 shows back to back. Till the time Meera's telecast started, these rumors had spread all around like forest fire.

My parents were shocked to hear from people and neighbors that their daughter is married and that's why she's not seen around. For a brief time, even my mom started to believe this rumor as my cousins were calling her constantly asking about this and she asked me if it was true. I had to really put in a lot of effort to explain that it's just a rumor.

I don't know the person who had first spread it.  There must have been quite a few people who just imagined my marriage and started talking about it. And also, it was not a bad rumor in my opinion, it was a nice rumor - talking about my marriage to my bf. If I ever come across the person and if it happens to be a girl, I'll just hug her.

Rumors and gossip are all part and parcel of celebrity hood. I think people in our industry know this very well and so they don't really take these things on their hearts. My advise - be cool and calm if a rumor is spread about you,even of worse, it'll die down eventually cause it's not the truth. It's another thing to be proud of that the people have the time and energy to spread rumors about us and talk about us for hours. We should just be happy thinking this and embrace the whole package that comes with being a known face, a celeb.

I still laugh a lot thinking about it that people have such a wild imagination and premonitions. Yes, I was angry too, but for a brief time. As I said its the side effects of our profession. People talk and spread crazy rumors about us all the time. It's okay, its their love, they care top much about us.
