Peninsula Productions to bring back Vikram Aur Betaal to TV?

The last time you watched Vikram Betaal is probably when it aired as an animated series on Cartoon Network. It was popular when it played on DD National as well and now we hear that Peninsula Productions will test the tried and true tale's charm all over again by creating a fresh new series around it. 

According to sources, the makers who are popular for mythological shows including the recent show Mayavi Maling on Star Bharat and the upcoming show Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga will come with a version of Vikram Aur Betaal. The classic story of King Vikram Aditya and the ghost Betaal is sure captive audiences. The show will be aired by And TV on the weekend slot. There are a bunch of popular shows airing on the channel and Vikram Aur Betaal will be the latest addition. 

The TV show is sure to grab attention as viewers will be interested to know how the rendition of the story will turn out to be. This will be another offering by producers Alind Srivastava and Nissar Parvez. Excited already?
