'Pavitra Rishta' clocks 14 years: Ankita Lokhande's heartfelt note will take you back in time

Needless to say, Zee TV's show 'Pavitra Rishta' will always be remembered as one of the most iconic shows on Indian Television. The show starred Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead roles and their pair went ahead to be one of the most popular pairs onscreen and offscreen too. 

Well, as Pavitra Rishta completes 14 years today, Ankita Lokhande who essayed the character of Archana in the show took to her Instagram handle to share a video of her journey as Archana through out the show. Ankita also shared a heartfelt note with this video and thanked producer Ekta Kapoor for giving her the opportunity to play Archana. She also stated how even today when people meet her, they identify her as Archana and she loves this. 

Archana wrote: "14 years of Pavitra rishta and still feels so fresh and connected with my first ever baby.. Thank god for everything!!

And thanks you so much @ektarkapoor for always having that faith in me that I could be your archu and Thanku for giving me the new identity as Archana because the people who loved me during the show when they see or meet me now also ,the first name which comes in there mind is archu and I love it so much.. Thanku so much everyone around who has loved and watched this beautiful show called pavitra rishta with all there heart and soul .. I'm grateful forever.''

Pavitra Rishta was produced by Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms. The show starred Ankita Lokhande and the late Sushant Singh Rajput.
