Pavitra Puniya has THIS to say on Mamta Kulkarni being expelled as Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara

Popular actress Mamta Kulkarni being declared as the Mahamadaleshwar of the Kinnar Akhara sparked debate all across the internet. While a section of the audience hailed the actress' spiritual transformation, another section questioned the same due to the actress' turbulent past. Amid all of this, the actress, along with Lakshmi Tripathi was expelled from the said post today.

An Instagram post informing about the same was shared by Pavitra Puniya on her Instagram stories. The actress, taking to her Instagrm stories calls this decision a 'perfect' one. Pavitra writes, 'Perfect.' In another Instagram story, Pavitra also shared a video of an Instagram user who is seen explaining what happened exactly. Sharing the said video, Pavitra writes, 'Very well said.'

What exactly happened with Mamta Kulkarni?

Well, in an official statement released by Rishi Ajay Das, the founder of the Kinnar Akhara, he states that he has expelled not just Mamta but Laxmi Narayan Tripathi from the post of Mahamandaleshwar too. He called appointing Mamta Kulkarni as an 'unconstitutionalized act' as she has connections with the glamour industry and has also been accused of 'treason.' His statement read, ''Without following any religious or akhada tradition, instead of making her renunciate, they directly conferred the title and patta of Mahamandaleshwar on her. Due to which, today I am reluctantly compelled to relieve her from the post in the interest of the country, Sanatan Dharma and society.''

Both Mamta and Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi are yet to comment on the same. However earlier, Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi had announced of holding a press conference on Friday to make an 'important announcement.'
