Pavitra Bhagya actress Prema Mehta on the wedding sequence: I felt that I was actually getting married

Actress Prema Mehta, who recently joined the cast of the Colors’ show, ‘Pavitra Bhagya’, is rather enjoying her role of a sari-clad bahu on the show. But, what got her really excited was that the show featured her first on-screen wedding! 

The actress says that while she has donned the bridal look previously for many shoots, this time around, her “feelings were real.” She shares, “For a long time now, I have done jewelry shoots in various bridal looks. But, those were print ad campaigns, totally unlike what I experienced on the sets of ‘Pavitra Bhagya’. Here, I was in that look for 12 hours every day, till they completed shooting the wedding sequence. It was exhausting, but my feelings were real. I felt that I was actually getting married, as we followed all the rituals. Like a real-life bride, I was feeling both nervous and excited (laughs!).”

Now that she has got married on reel, what kind of bridal look does she have in mind for her real-life shaadi? “Honestly, I have no dream bridal look. Like I said, I have already tried all kinds of bridal looks for various ad campaigns. So, maybe to look different, I will try wearing a bikini with a dupatta (laughs!),” she replies, jokingly.
