'Parvarrish' season 2 in pipeline?

Overwhelmed by the positive response to TV show "Parvarrish - Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi", producer DJ's Creative Unit is reportedly coming up with its sequel.

"DJ's Creative Production is planning to come up with 'Parvarrish' season two. The making of the show is in process and it will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television. The cast has not been finalised yet but the makers have approached well known faces of the television industry to be a part of the show," a source said in a statement.

"The makers will be introducing two new families based out of Delhi. The storyline will revolve around a child's upbringing in today's modern and fast paced life. Similar to the first season, the sequel will attract the viewers with its crisp storyline," the source added.

"Parvarrish - Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi" -- a story of the Ahluwalia and Ahuja families, how they overcome their differences and learn to get through the ups and downs of life together, aired for over 300 episodes.

Amongst the cast members were Shweta Tiwari, Vivek Mushran, Tapasvi Mehta, Rupali Ganguly and Barkha Bisht Sengupta.

this was one hell of a show i loved like yeahhh!
and then barkha entered and i could not skip a single episode
shweta was great as always...
this show had such good direction
miss it
i wish S2 had same cast..

What if you guys made LRL - season2!!! Would be history. RK/Priyanka Bassi/Arjun Bijlani/Harshad Chopra...it would be a block buster!!!

Its nice that a sequel is coming up but i don't think it will be the same for me witout the same cast.

Parvarish was an entertaining show and an almost realistic depiction of modern day family life and child-rearing! Hope the sequel will be as good as the original one!
