Parul Chauhan on finally playing a negative roles after docile roles in TV shows

Actor Parul Chauhan has had a long career on the small screen so far and it seems that she is finally getting to play different shades which excite an actor. She plays a deliciously negative character as Kadru in Dharma Yoddha Garud and this is interestingly her return to the small screen after a three year hiatus.

Talking about it with ETimes TV, Chauhan said, "For me this is the first time that I am doing a mythological show and before this I’ve never attempted a show of this kind. So far I’ve always done characters of sweet, innocent and docile girls, but in Dharm Yoddha Garud, I’ve gone all and out negative. It has been very challenging for me that after doing roles of simple and sweet girls, I am playing a totally hardcore negative role. Touchwood, I don't have any issues with the language that is being used in the script. I am very comfortable with it,"

Chauhan continues to be remembered for her docile roles in TV shows, notably the popular show, Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai but this is the first time, she gets to play a totally different role. What is even more interesting about this is that she reunites with her Bidaai co-star Angad Hasija and talking about that she said, "It’s an amazing feeling to be back with Angad. Our show ended in 2010 and it’s been 12 years and after that we are also meeting after 7-8 years. The way we met each other like lost friends. Everyone on the sets of our show Dharm Yoddha Garud started laughing after looking at us. Humari harkatein dekh ke set par sab hass rahe the.., kaise hain ye log. Angad hasn’t changed a bit, he’s still the same and our friendship is still pure and amazing. We are still bonding the same way like how we used to during the Bidaai days. I’m having a great time working with him again after so many years."
