Paras Arora to play Abhimanyu in Star Plus' Mahabharat

Abhimanyu is among the most luminous characters in the Mahabharata whose heroism is unsurpassed in this epic. In yet again leap in the epic, as Pandavas return to Hastinapur after twelve years of Vanvas followed by one year of Agyaat Vaas, Arjun will meet his son Abhimanyu for the first time. The role of Abhimanyu will be played by actor Paras Arora who was last seen in Rajjo alongside Kangana Ranaut.

Delighted with his new role, Paras Arora said, "I'm extremely happy that I'm returning to the television with an epic show like Mahabharat. I've already started shooting and have got a great welcome from the cast & crew. So far I've shot few scenes with Pandavas, Duryodhan & Shakuni and they all have been very supportive."

After the splendid reception of 'Game of Dice' sequence in Star Plus' Mahabharat by viewers all across the country, each and every episode of Mahabharat is leaving the audience wanting for more. In the upcoming weeks Pandavas will come back to Hastinapur and prepare for the gigantic war of Kurukshetra.
