Pankaj Vishnu, Neha Bam and Pooja Welling on Code Red!

Colors' popular episodic series Code Red, witnesses many known faces from television for bringing an impact on the stories. While this time the actors that will be seen featuring on the show are Pankaj Vishnu, Neha Bam and Pooja Welling, the story will put light on the social issue of gang rape.

Our source informs us, "The trio will be seen for an episodic of Code Red Aawaz produced by Sunshine Productions. The story highlight a gang rape which will take place in Nagpur. It will revolve around a serious rapist who uses his political powers and escapes from the crime."

We contacted Pankaj who is playing a cop on the show and he said, "I am playing the character of an Inspector Ratan Imaandar who is a senior and an honest guy. The story will revolve around a guy named Balu Kali, he is a serious rapist and because of his influential powers he will never be punished. Whereas my character tries to catch hold of the guy but even I get frustrated with the system as he is set free every time after his arrest. Later with the help of Kabir (Yash Sinha) the guy gets arrested."

We also contacted Pooja Welling who is playing the rape victim she said, "Yes, I have done one episode before for Code Red where I was playing the negative character of a woman who was the first Indian lady hanged to death. And on the contrary this time I am playing a rape victim so both the roles are contrast with each other and it is fun to play a character."

She further continues, "This time we shot in 200 ft deep water, it was exciting and at the same time very scary as there were crabs and other insects in the water. Talking about the story it is about a brutal rape case where four guys rape a girl and after she dies the 5^th guy rapes her."

The show is indeed highlighting a brutal case in front of the audience.
