Pandya Store has been doing extremely well with the audience and it has captured the attention since the very start. While the show continues to be a fan favourite, Kanwar Dhillon's character, Shiva, has been talked about time and again for the portrayal, the characteristics, and more. Not only him, but most of the co-stars agree that this show is one of the best in their careers so far.
Ask Kanwar if he thinks this show is a milestone that might pave the way ahead for him, and he told India Forums, ''Well, why not, I would love to look at it that way. I have always believed in climbing the ladder slowly. I have never been one of those actors who can over-adjust or over compromise, I have always been a choosy actor and that is the reason I have had slow and steady growth. I don't want to be one of them who shoots up and shoots down, I want to climb up and stay there, that is the kind of thought process I have. I am happy that this has boosted the climbing of the ladder in some way, I don't think too much about what will happen after this or what will I do after this, things are coming in, I leave it to destiny, what has to come to you, will come to you eventually and your work will speak, your craft should speak. When that is doing the job, half my job is done.''
He adds, ''Whatever comes, I will welcome it with open arms, but you can never plan such things. In my life, half the time, unplanned things have happened, so I don't foresee the future in a way that certain things should happen in a certain way. I believe in living in the present and it is a happy phase so I want to enjoy it. After being in the industry for 9 years, this is the best phase that I have experienced. Let's see what happens.''
A remake of Tamil show Pandian Stores, Pandya Store also features Shiny Doshi, Alice Kaushik, Kinshuk Mahajan, Akshay Kharodia, among others.
