Panchayat actor Aasif Khan dismisses reports of suffering a heart attack; shares exact reason

Fans of Panchayat can heave a sigh of relief. Actor Aasif Khan who plays Ganesh in the web series has confirmed that he is hale and hearty. The actor was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for a couple of days. News reports said he had suffered a heart attack and needed treatment for the same. In an interview to The Times Of India, he said it was severe gastric reflux. As we know, the chest pain can be similar to that of a heart attack. Aasif Khan is best known for his work in Panchayat. The fourth season of the much-loved web series had released soon.

Aasif Khan married his long-time lady love Zeba in the month of December 2024. They had been dating for many years.

He further said, “I've been told to stop eating dal baati, limit my non-veg, and work out more. I don't think it should impact my work. Something or the other happens in everyone's life. People move on.” Khan said that he did not look at the phone for two days in the hospital. He admitted that it made him feel good. However, he wants to reply to everyone who texted him worried about his health.

Aasif Khan had written that life is indeed uncertain. He said one should live every day to the fullest, and be grateful for everything. He said such a medical emergency is a reminder that we need to cherish our loved ones a lot more. Khan wrote that he was hospitalized for some reasons that needed medical attention. He said that he is thankful for the flood of get well soon messages that came from colleagues, friends and fans.
