The Pahalgam Attack has been one of the most tragic and cowardly attacks on Indian soil in a long time. Militants who claimed to be from The Resistance Front shot dead 27 tourists, all Hindu men in the Pahalgam Valley. From newly-wedded young men to servicemen and average householders, the attack left families in dismay. Indians are livid and want PM Narendra Modi to avenge this cowardly attack. A number of Pakistani actors have condemned it. Fawad Khan, Hania Aamir, Mawra Hocane all called out this horrific attack saying it was a bolt on humanity.
Now, netizens are enraged seeing the post of Durefishan Saleem. Her now deleted post compared Hindutva with Zionisim. She said that both the ideologies are based in supremacy and nothing good has come out of it. Israel’s attack on Palestine is a matter of international debate. While the former maintains it is against terrorism, the world has lamented the loss of human life, especially those of children. Indian netizens have noticed that people who speak out openly about Gaza have stayed quiet on this Kashmir issue. This has upset people as no human life is lesser than another.

Also, the comparison with the West Bank scenario has angered people. Indian celebs from all fields have posted about the Pahalgam incident. Even those belonging to the minority community have highlighted that one should be proud of one’s identity as an Indian itself and then discuss one’s religion or community. A lot of netizens who loved Pakistani dramas have now said they would avoid watching them. The fandom of their stars is quite big in India. In the mean time, Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor’s Abir Gulaal is banned from a release in India.
