Star Plus has been one of the few channels amidst all juggernauts to have the maximum number of long running shows and Saath Nibhana Saathiya belongs to that bandwagon.

The show has been on-air for over 7 years and has been one of the most popular shows. However, according to recent reports, the show has been under scrutiny and the channel and makers have decided to pull the plug on the show.

Yes! That's right. This is however not the first time that the show has been under the scanner, but this time around, things seem more certain that the show will go off-air. The lack of plotlines and dipping ratings have been termed to be the reason for this decision.

To get deep into the matter, we contacted Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi, who said, "To be honest, I have no idea about this at all. We haven't been intimidated about this decision." What do you have to say about the same? Leave in your comments below..

According to sources, the off-air date of the show is supposed to go off-air by 25th of July.
