OMG: Kangana demands 11 crores for her next!

Kangana Ranaut conveniently slipped into the league of A-list actors with her splendid performance in Queen. She went on to prove her capability in Tanu Weds Manu Returns soon after that.

Currently the actor has been busy with the filming of her next, Vishal Bharawaj's Rangoon. Apparently the makers have given her a heavy amount for the film, even more than what Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are being paid. Kangana had always been of the opinion that actresses should also be paid as much as the actors are, in the industry.

Another such news we have come across is that a leading studio had approached the talented beauty with an amazing script. Kangana had liked the script and given her nod to the film. The pre-production process of the film had begun, when Kangana spoke about her fee. The makers were flabbergasted by the amount Kangana demanded for the film. It was a whooping amount of 11 crores!

Now the production studio are in two minds whether to cast Kangana in the film or not! Has Kangana demanded the amount after learning the amount Deepika Padukone will be getting for Padmawati? Deepika is being paid an amount close of 11 cr. for the film.

what's wrong if she's demanding it...well bollywood men are charing rs 40 crores per film but do you guys write about them...even a yesteryear actor like amitabh bacchan giving one flop another another(Sorry its a fact market doesn't see superstar's status) has been charging around 12 crores per film and if kangana charges it...its surprising..cut the hypocrisy and yes no one really knows that such amount in these days means nothing. these people live a very lavish lifestyle in order to maintain that this is not even enough..so let's not go there...full power to kangana...and thumbs down to india-forums for this dubious article

Don't mean to sound offensive or bash the other but Kangana does truly deserves this much amount! Kangana is powerful actress, very hardworking and doesn't depend on A-list actors big producers to become successful like Deepika (who has worked with Khans Kumar and SLB Kjo like producers! Before cocktail she wasn't even considered one of the top actresses due to flops average movies she gave back to back, 2013 was owned by her thanks to Kjo's YJHD, SRK's CE, SLB's RL! Kangana did Gangster, Fashion then TWM, Raaz 2, Krrish, Queen, TWMR and now her role in Rangoon seems also promising! None of these movies are with Khans or SLB like filmmakers! I like her feminist attitude towards the male dominated industry where actors are paid more, actors are much more appreciated for their work, actors who launch actresses because of their big stardom and actresses dying to work with big stars to become successful and stay in limelight! Kangana did everything on her own!!
She deserves every penny of the amount she has demanded.
