"Nothing is happening, 'Ishqbaaaz' is not going anywhere." - Surbhi Chandna

Star Plus' much loved show, Ishqbaaaz has been doing very well with the audience and everyone is loving the 'ShivIka' marriage going on right now. However, there have been a lot of rumours pertaining the show. We got in touch with Surbhi Chandna aka Anika and here's all that she had to say.

When quizzed about the rumours of the show going off-air, she said, "Nothing is happening. The show is not going anywhere. People can see how well we are doing on the BARC and on the Star TRPs. Why would the show go off-air."

"It is very upsetting even as the actors, producers and writers because everyone is working so hard. We are going to continue working and will not disappoint our fans. If at all anything like this is happening we will officially announce it and let the fans know," she added.

We also asked her how does she deal with all these rumours and if those in any way affect her morale, to which she said, "No, it never affects our morale and that is because we know that they are baseless. We know we are working well and our producers will tell us if it's happening.

There are so many exciting things coming up. There is no reason for the show to go off-air. The entire cast is so amazing with actors like Leenesh Mattoo, Kunal Kulbhushan Jaisingh, Mansi Srivastava, Nakuul Mehta and Shrneu Parikh. Swetlana (Reyhna Malhotra) is back along with Tej (Mahesh Thakur). How can it go off abruptly? A lot is yet to come," she added further.
