'Not taken any responsibility like marriage & kids so..': Mangal Lakshmi's Kapil Nirmal calls 'work' his life

Actor Kapil Nirmal, who was last seen in the TV show Mangal Lakshmi, feels a career is important for everyone. However, he stressed that hard work and luck also play an important role.

He said, "Everything is changing at a fast pace. In our place of work, you should keep knocking on the doors till they open, and if an opportunity comes out of it, give it your best shot and leave it to your destiny and the audience. This is what I think one can do and then repeat till you carve your own mark."

"I have always believed in luck and destiny; however, that doesn't mean you do nothing. One needs to keep working towards the desired goal and tick all the right boxes, and if you are destined, you will get what you always wanted," he added.

The industry demands long hours of shooting and unpredictable working hours, but Kapil has managed to balance it easily. He said, "We all are maintaining that balance; that's why we are still here. When it comes to me—my work is my life. I have not taken any responsibility as of now, like marriage, children, etc., so for me it's still the same as 20 years back.''

He added, "Money takes care of everything."

Having spent his fair share of time in the industry, he only hopes and dreams to be remembered as a good actor. That's his ambition.

"My ambition is to be known as a very good actor, and I am working towards it. I must say it's not that easy to achieve that level. I want to explore different platforms—web series and movies—so that I get opportunities to play different character shades, and yes, to be known by my name, not a character," Kapil ended.
