Not Shraddha, newbie bags lead role in Endemol's next on Star Plus

After Chhajje Chhajje Ka Pyaar on Sony Entertainment Television and Beend Banoonga Ghodi Chadungaa on Imagine TV, Endemol India is gearing up to finalize the cast of their show on Star Plus. This show, as reported by TellyBuzz earlier will be co-produced by Four Lions Films, the makers of Geet Hui Sabse Parayi.

We had already reported that Karan Singh Grover is believed to be the male protagonist in the show. This yet untitled show was tipped to have Nishabd's actress Shraddha Arya who played Amitabh Bachchan's daughter in the movie as the protagonist opposite Karan. But now we hear that the production house has chosen a newbie to play the lead as things couldn't materialise with Shraddha.
 
Our source tells us, "Shraddha was offered the show but things didn't fall into place with her and she apparently wasn't too keen on doing TV at this point of time. We have now roped in newbie Aanchal Singh who is seen in ad commercials including the Dena Bank commercial".

This show is said to be the tale of a young business tycoon and his elder sister, and how their life changes when they both meet their right match.

We hear that the show is expected to go on floor in a month's time. As of now, the unit is busy locking the cast.
