'NOT seeking opportunities in India': Hania Aamir's team after she faces WRATH for making new Insta account

Hania Aamir’s new Instagram account has sparked debate online after users in India noticed it was accessible despite the reported ban on Pakistani actors’ handles in the country. The actress’ previous account was not visible to Indian users, but the newly created one appears to bypass that restriction, prompting speculation about her intentions.

Several social media users, especially from Pakistan, accused Aamir of trying to gain favour with Indian audiences and industry insiders. Some even suggested that the actress was attempting to build connections in India for work opportunities. In response to the backlash, her team issued a statement denying the claims and have stated that Hania is not seeking any work opportunities in India.

“Attention please! There’s a misunderstanding going around about Hania’s new account. Some people think she’s trying to reach out to India for work or securing fans there, but that’s not true. Her old private account with us was deleted by Instagram, and she just made a new one with the same name. Unfortunately, it wasn’t set to private yet, which led to the confusion. Let’s clarify that Hania’s actions have nothing to do with seeking work opportunities or following in India. We know her heart!,'' Hania's team wrote.

The team clarified that the account was created only because the previous one was removed by Instagram and that the public visibility of the new profile was unintentional. Hania Aamir has not made a personal comment on the issue so far.

For those who do not know, several Pakistani actors, including Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Mawra Hoccane, Iqra Aziz's Instagram accounts have been blocked by the Indian government after the recent tragic Pahalgam terror attack.
