Not 'Sanjivani 3' But Another Medical Show On The Cards Confirms Siddharth P Malhotra

It was expected that Sanjivani 2 - the much-talked-about second season of iconic medical romance, Sanjivani would result in good numbers owing to all things going great for it - from returning Mohnish Behl and Gurdeep Kohli to new and popular faces in the form of Namit Khanna and Surbhi Chandna and the obvious brand that Sanjivani is - things seemed destined to work out well.

However, the numbers were never on fire and in fact, the show kept underperforming in spite of several twists, turns and new entries being attempted.

The result is that the show is now all set to go off-air in March. However, there have been reports that Season 3 is already in the works and that Sanjivani 3 will make it to the screens soon.

However, in a quote to Iwmbuzz, producer Sidharth Malhotra confirmed that "Not Sanjivani, but a medical show is being written. The platform is not decided. It will be fully written, made how we want it and then released.”

He added, "Nothing decided; I will write the full things first. I will make this show how I want it without anyone’s feedback or approval as is the case if you pre-sell it to anyone and when I’m happy then I will release it.”
