Not insecure, rather elated: Ankit Gupta aka Fateh on Karan V Grover joining 'Udaariyaan'

Colors’ show ‘Udaariyaan’ is riding high on success. The show took a while to click with the viewers but now, the show has become third most watched show on Indian Television. ‘Udaariyaan’ has garnered an impressive 2.7 rating in the BARC chart. The makers are not leaving any stones unturned to make sure that the viewers are entertained.

‘Udaariyaan’ is currently in the news as the makers have planned a grand entry of actor Karan V Grover as Tejo’s love interest. The fans are going gaga over the latest promos and are waiting eagerly for the entry to happen and story to unfold.

While the show had two female leads, it had only one male actor as a protagonist but with Karan V Grover’s entry, the dynamics would change. India Forums got in touch with actor Ankit Gupta who plays the character of Fateh in the show. We asked him if he went through a tinge of insecurity as another hero has been roped in for the show. We also questioned him if thoughts about less screen-space cross his mind, Ankit quipped, “Not at all. In fact, I’m excited to have an actor like Karan to be a art of the show. It will only be helpful for the growth of the show as a whole. As far as insecurity and less screen-space is concerned, I always believe that whatever is meant for you will surely happen. I’m rather elated as a new protagonist will join as it will give me a breather to look after myself a bit and engage in activities that I’m not able to due to hectic shooting schedule”.

Talking about Karan V Grover and his line of work, Ankit said, “I’ve watched Karan’s previous show Saarthi on Star Plus. I used to watch that show along with my mother (smiles). I've also seen his work in SIT videos. It’s nice to work with him and I’m looking forward to learning new things. I always get excited to work with different people as it only enhances your knowledge and lets you learn several things from other people’s craft and personality. It’s nice to have him on board”.

The show will soon have a grand Diwali celebration wherein eminent personalities like Gippy Grewal, Gurnaam Bhullar, Ravi Dubey among others will perform. Amidst the celebration, Karan V Grover will make his grand entry as Angad Maan.
