Not Chhavi Pandey but this actress to play Rani Padmini in Vikram Betaal ki Rahasya Gaatha

&TV's upcoming fantasy, Vikram Betaal ki Rahasya Gaatha has been creating a lot of buzz since its announcement. The show is produced by Peninsula Pictures and will feature Ahem Sharma and Makrand Deshpande in the titular roles.

While we earlier reported that actress Chhavi Pandey might play the role of Rani Padmini in the show, according to recent reports, Peshwa Bajirao fame Ishita Ganguly has been roped in to play the part.

Apparently, Chhavi was being considered for the role but things didn't work out and now Ishita will step in the character of Rani Padmini.

Ishita will also be seen playing a prominent role in Colors' show Shrimad Bhagwat.
