Noah Baumbach on How Wife Greta Gerwig Influenced His Work

Probably one of the most powerful behind-the-scenes couples on the current scene, Noah Baumbach and Greta Gerwig have two of the most critically acclaimed films to their credit - Marriage Story and Little Women respectively.

So, in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Baumbach opened up on how wife Gerwig influences his work.

Baumbach joined his partner Greta Gerwig for the roundtable (she directs this year's Little Women remake), and opened up about her creative influence in his work. "It's beyond advice, it's like the roots," Baumbach told the table. "She's in there from the very beginning."

Noah Baumbach has one career Oscar nomination for the screenplay for his film The Squid and the Whale. He recently earned his first Golden Globe nomination for his Marriage Story script.
