At the same time ground breaking efforts have to be made to ensure that a social change is brought about in our thinking, attitude, traditional practices and behaviour towards women of our society. Whilst this kind of deep change will take time to show results in the meanwhile the Law and administration has to take exemplary strong steps. No tolerance policy has to be applied to crimes against women. Our society is ill. And the Law enforcement and Administration cannot just stand and watch it fall apart." said Prasoon Joshi.
