No cash flow in Meet Mila De Rabba
The cast and crew of Sony's Meet Mila De Rabba have not got their cheques from the previous producer, Ravi Kaushal..
Sony's Meet Mila De Rabba has not won the heart of its actors.
According to Monaz Mevawala, who plays the lead girl Surily Gautam's sister Babli says, "Certain cast have not been paid from the start of the show. Forget actors, even the light guy and caterers have not been paid by earlier Producer Ravi Kaushal. Some of them have had to withdraw their wards from school due to lack of money. I have some bounced cheques with me".

An actor who refused to be named says that the channel has played unfair. "We were not told about the existence of an agreement between the channel, financier and the old producer. Now the financier is saying that he can't clear our dues until he is paid".
Lead actor Piyush Sahdev although being very cagey about the subject admitted that "It was quite tough". According to another source, "The channel is trying to find a way to end the impasse. Certain actors are threatening to boycott work, if the issue is not resolved soon. Some have threatened to march to Sony office with sticks, as they believe that the channel has made a mistake by firing the old producer without forcing him to first clear his dues, as he is now free to avoid making payments".
Kunal Karan Kapoor who was removed from the show for so-called attitude throwing also says that he has not been paid, and says, "I had to dish out my Rs.14000 for the Chandigarh schedule"
Sony was unavailable for comment. However, our sources say that they have filed a case against the producer. When we contacted Ravi Kaushal, he says "I can't say anything as the matter is in court".

this kind of sucks because i actually really like this show and i hope this dispute/issue doesn''t end up causing the show to go off air.
don''t understand how the channel let the old producer go without fixing the problems.
i dont blame the actors for wanting to walk out, no one wants to work grueling hours and not be paid for their hard work.

this is not right how they have treated the actor/actresses of MMDR. But I hope this problem resolves soon in a fair manner and it won''t cause any harm to the MMDR show itself
