Nivedita Basu embraces motherhood like no other!

Ask any parent and they will vouch and swear on the fact that there is no greater happiness in the world than being parents. And the same goes for television producer Nivedita Basu who is pregnant with her first child.

When asked, an ecstatic Nivedita exclaims, "Actually the baby will be born any time after the 38th week, so I am ideally due any time. But because we want a natural delivery we will wait for 10-12 days more to see if I go into labour. We got married in November 2007, so it is going to be exact 10 years now. And it's truly a milestone for us as we are welcoming the baby in our decade long marriage."

Sharing her thoughts on embracing the feeling of motherhood for the first time, she adds, "Being my own boss, I have been fortunate enough to take a break from work for enjoying every moment of my pregnancy and motherhood. But still I am eager to get back to work at the earliest. However, we haven't finalised any baby names but I wish I had thought of a name. I think I need to finalise on something soon and mostly in the coming week and before the baby is born. Well, I know one thing for sure that I want a different Indian, Sanskrit name. If it's a synonym of a God, then there's nothing like it and my husband's name is Yadunath which means Lord Krishna. We still have around one week in hand to decide the name." 

Nivedita Basu is married to Yadunath Bhargavan Karimbil who is an advocate studied from the States and has his own law firm. We wish the couple luck and hope they have a healthy baby.
