Nikkhil Arya Clarifies He Hasn't Tested Positive For COVID-19 Being Admitted To The Hospital

One of the rather surprising yet common occurrences of these testing times of coronavirus phase has been how people, while being cautious start making assumptions and even acting upon it before knowing what is the truth.

We have come across multiple instances where people have said how others go on to make their assumptions and even act on it even though it isn't the truth. Apart from being diagnosed with COVID-19, there are a million other reasons that one can be admitted to the hospital for but the fear of the pandemic seems rather overpowering.

That also happened in the case of actor Nikkhil Arya, who is best known for his stint in Kumkum Bhagya. Arya recently shared an image of himself in the hospital and this immediately led to speculation that he has tested positive for coronavirus. However, the truth the matter is that he, in fact, underwent surgery for appendicitis on Sunday morning in his hometown, Pune.

Talking about it with Bombay Times, he said, “It started out as a regular stomach ache, which I thought was a case of acidity and indigestion. But, it turned out to be a badly swollen appendix, and became more complicated and painful because it ruptured and the pus spread inside my stomach. If I had delayed it a little more, anything could’ve happened. God is great.”

About rumors that he had tested positive for COVID-19, he clarified, “The good news is that I am COVID negative for the time being, but my city Pune continues to bleed and deliver horrific numbers.”

Well, the good thing is that Arya is all better now and is neither facing an issue with coronavirus or appendicitis.
