News of Naseeruddin Shah’s Son Vivaan testing positive for Covid-19 is FAKE: Actor confirms

What started as a pandemic in the month of March is still going strong and the countries across the globe are still getting affected by the coronavirus. 

Several celebrities have fallen prey to COVID-19. On Monday morning, headlines made rounds that veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah’s younger son, actor Vivaan has tested positive for coronavirus.

“Yes, I am not well as I have tested positive for Covid-19” he was quoted as saying by Times of India.

However, as reported by SpotboyE, the news of Vivaan testing positive is fake and the actor has himself confirmed about the same. “I tested negative for Covid-19. It’s fake news,” Vivaan tells SpotboyE.

On the work front, Vivaan recently featured in Mira Nair’s A Suitable Boy, which also stars Tabu, Ishaan Khatter and Ram Kapoor.

Vivaan had made his acting debut with Vishal Bharadhwaj’s Saat Khoon Maaf and then went on to star in the multi-starrer Happy New Year, also starring Deepika Padukone, Shah Rukh Khan, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan and Sonu Sood. He will be seen next in the film, Coat.
