New finds in television, Shobhit Rana and Suraj Agnihotri..

TellyBuzz had earlier written about V.G. Productions coming up with a show on COLORS, titled Saath Saath. We had also reported that Aniruddh Dave will play the lead of the show, and Sumeet Sachdev of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi fame has been roped in to essay a vital role.

The latest is that few new faces are getting introduced in television thro' this show. Shobhit Rana who hails from Chandigarh will essay the female lead's role. Another new comer Suraj Agnihotri will play the role of a stud in the college, and will be seen as the main negative character.

Our source states, "This is the first TV show for both Shobhit and Suraj Agnihotri. Shobhit has done print ads and fashion designing before. She plays the spoilt brat from a rich family who gets into bad company and takes to smoking, drug abuse, roaming with boy friends etc. Suraj on the other hand plays the handsome guy in the college who is into ragging".

Anirrudh Dave plays the nerd who comes from a village to study in the college in Mumbai. The guy encounters various problems including ragging, and this is when he meets the girl who is into all the bad practice. Saath Saath will focus on the gradual transition in the girl due to the influence of the boy in her life. Sumeet Sachdev plays the young and enterprising principal of the college. Neelu Kohli will play the girl's mother in the show. Amrita Deshmukh plays the negative lead..

The unit has shot certain number for episodes for the show, and the promos are expected to be shot soon..
