Neil Bhatt: The dignity of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is that all the characters are beautifully flawed

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin on Star Plus has always been one of the top shows on Indian television and it continues to rule the charts. While the show has been facing its own set of twists and turns, Neil Bhatt as Virat and Ayesha Singh as Sai have received immense love for the show. In fact, it was on October 5 that the show clocked in one whole year.

A lot is said about the characters and the show, however, there often are moments when as an actor, one might feel that a change in their character would make things better. India Forums got in touch with Neil aka Virat, and we asked him if there's anything he'd like to change about his character and Ayesha's. He says, ''In the hindsight, when you think about how I would like to change so and so aspect about a certain role, it is easier said than done. The way they are, they way they have been devised, I don't think I am in any position to say anything that okay, if we do it like this, it would be better. I don't think I could say that I want to change this, or change, because if we change things, we don't have the same people that the audiences have connected to.''

He added, ''I think they are wonderfully flawed characters, not Sai as much as Virat, he is more flawed. I think the dignity of the show is that all the characters are beautifully flawed, the more you try to change them, and try to perfect the flaws, that is a myth, because there is nothing like a perfect person, it takes away the charm of the character.''

Currently, Sai is in the hospital and while Virat has been having a tough time coming to terms with what is going on, he is worried about her and how will things proceed continues to be awaited.
