Neha Swami on Smart Jodi: It is nice to be alongside your husband and spend ample time together

Neha Swami, who is currently seen in Smart Jodi with husband Arjun Bijlani has been receiving a lot of love. The couple is one of the most loved duos of tinsel town and often shed couple goals. She got talking to India Forums about Smart Jodi, the work she wants to do ahead, and more.

How does it feel to be in front of the camera since all this while, you have been managing fort behind it?

Well, I have been through all the emotions from nervousness to excitement but in all, it has been an absolutely exilerating experience. It is nice to be alongside your husband and spend ample time together.

Do we see you taking up more shows post Smart Jodi?

It all depends on the time in hand and our little one is our priority, so yes, if something comes up, which makes me manage juggling time well, then ofcourse I'd love to take up something worthwhile.

How is it working on screen with your husband?

Fun, excitement filled and I am glad, given his crazy schedules, I am getting to spend more time with him.

Have you always been camera shy?

Well, not really, but over the years I've gotten so family and home bound that when I first faced it,, it was a bit awkward but I got the drift instantly and now I enjoy it.

We heard you are changing your name from Neha to Shivani, throw some light please?

Yes, my original name is Shivani but during my modelling days, everyone started to address me by my nickname and that's how Neha stayed but all my legal work is in the name of Shivani, so yes, the contempaltion is on.

Is it difficult to be a hands on mom in todays world because you have done a fabulous job with raising Ayaan while Arjun has been busy with work commitments?

I guess its all about priorities and love, so no, its not been difficult but its taken up all my time and I have no complaints whatsoever.

What are your future plans professionally?

For now, Smart Jodi is keeping me busy, I have a few thoughts am juggling with. Also, I'd love to take on endorsements and projects that don't take up all my time..ads, endorsements and one offs are more than welcome but acting as a career is not carved for me.
