Neha Saxena quits Amita Ka Amit!

Neha Saxena who is currently seen as Preeti in Siddharth Kumar Tiwari's Amita Ka Amit has decided to quit the show. The actress had earlier played pivotal roles in popular shows like Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai and Tere Liye. She then took up a cameo in Amita Ka Amit but now she has decided to quit the show. The actress is serving her notice period and her last day on the sets will be 2^nd June.

TellyBuzz spoke to Neha to know about the reason behind this decision taken by her. She said, "My character in the show is not going the way it was told to me. It was a cameo which was supposed to be for one month but later on my character turned into a character role. After that, I hardly used to get dialogues and the character didn't have any graph now on wards. I felt that I can do any kind of roles but I was finding it difficult to play this kind of role where I was just standing, smiling with no dialogues. The character didn't pick up well. I would prefer to sit at home rather than playing  characters in which I am not comfortable in."

She further added, "I told the production house about the reason but even they can't do anything about it. The production house is very nice and co-operative but it happens that some stories are meant to  revolve around the leads only. It was my mistake that I took up cameo as I was not comfortable playing this kind of character."

Talking about her future plans, she told TellyBuzz, "I would like to play lead roles in future."
