Neha Mehta on quitting Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: It was very sensible right now moving out from the show

Post lockdown relaxations have brought in a new set of challenges for the makers of long-running comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Earlier, there were reports doing the rounds that Gurucharan Singh, who plays Roshan Sodhi had quit the show. And after that, there were also reports about Neha Mehta aka Anjali Bhabhi, moving on from the show.

And recently, reports suggested that Sunayana Fozdar, will be stepping into the shoes of Neha Mehta's character. Neha was a part of TMKOC for 12 years and now, Sunayana Fozdar will be seen playing the role of Taarak Mehta's (Sailesh Lodha) wife, Anjali. 

India Forums got in touch with Neha Mehta regarding the same, and she said, "Yes I have quit the show with a lot of pain. I have great respect for Producer Asit Modi. The show will always remain at the top of my heart. At this moment, I only want to say that all women's dignity is first and that's the same for me, and for me, it was very sensible right now moving out from the show. But I will always be entertaining the audience with good quality performance"
