Nawazuddin Siddiqui Reacts to Sexual Harassment Case Filed by his Niece Sasha Against His Brother Minazuddin Siddiqui

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s 21-year-old niece, Sasha Siddiqui has alleged sexual harassment against the actor’s younger brother Minazuddin Siddiqui and she has filed a sexual harassment case against her uncle at Jamia police station in Delhi. 

Sasha revealed that Minaz abused her sexually and hit her since she was 9 years old and continued to harass her till she was 18, a few months before she got married. In an interview with Bollywood Life, she made some shocking revelations and burst open about the molestation she faced for years.

She revealed that everyone in the family, including Nawazuddin, were aware of Minaz’s wrongdoings but no one raised their voice or stopped him. “Everyone knew in that house what was happening with me (the sexual harassment), I had told everybody everything, but nobody said a word. I thought that Nawaz bade papa would have a different mentality because of the society he was mixing in, but he clearly stated, 'You're lying. My brother can't do anything of the sort’ Sasha said.

Sasha also alleged that the Siddiqui family has been torturing her husband and in-laws. Nawazuddin has kept mum over all the allegations, right from his estranged wife Aaliya’s divorce plea to niece Sasha’s allegations against his brother.

When Hindustan Times contacted Nawazuddin to respond to the same, the actor replied by saying: “Thank you for your concern, but on this, no comment.”

Well, it looks like the actor is determined to maintain his silence but his niece would not stop. She revealed that that soon after she filed the FIR, Nawazuddin called her for the first time in the last five years. Sasha also alleged that the Siddiqui family has threatened her to withdraw the complaint. She says: “A family relative was told to inform us that we’ll be in trouble if we don’t take the case back. That’s why I’m worried.”

On the other hand, Sasha has found support from Nawazuddin’s estranged wife Aaliya and she hopes that she will get justice.
