Nawazuddin says he likes the scripts of Kangana's films; has nothing to do with her personal life

Actor Kangana Ranaut is known to be in multiple controversies every other day for multiple reasons. And while that is her personal life where she continues to post opinions and even indulge in spats with other celebrities, one cannot deny her amazing talent on-screen and how she is a fine actor.

That is what another fine actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui believes as well. The actor is all set to star in Ranaut's maiden production Tiku Weds Sheru where he will be sharing screen space with teen actor, Avneet Kaur. In a recent interview, Siddiqui revealed that Ranaut is a good producer and he likes the scripts of her films. 

The actor, however, added that he has nothing to do with her personal life and her thoughts. Recently, Ranaut was in news for her controversial remark on India’s independence movement. The actor had equated India’s freedom in 1947 with 'alms', adding that the country got real independence after 2014.

Siddiqui was recently nominated  for the best performance by an actor category at the 2021 International Emmy Awards for ‘Serious Men’. However, the actor did not win. Talking about being nominated, he had said, “For me getting recognised and nominated on such a huge level is something I had never dreamt of in my wildest dreams.

David Tenant who is nominated with me in the same category makes me feel extremely special. I have watched Des, Hamlet and many other films. He is a performer to watch for and he portrays every scene and character to its perfection and getting nominated alongside such a talented man means a lot."

Apart from Tiku Weds Sheru, Siddiqui will also be starring in Heropanti 2, Jogira Sa Ra Ra and Adbhut among others.
