Naveen Saini ties the knot...

Naveen Saini who is currently seen in Rajan Shahi’s Bidaai as brother of Sadhana and Ragini, recently tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Priyanka Srivastava on December 1. Priyanka happens to be Miss India Cat Walk 2002, and was last seen in the Star Plus afternoon show Grahasti.

However, Naveen who plays Vinu in the show has no time for honeymoon and is back to work. “Due to the workload we have postponed our honeymoon plans. Bidaai is now a one hour daily, so we need to shoot back to back. I resumed work just three days back,” says he.

“May be during the New Year we will go out somewhere as there will be no shooting”, adds Naveen.

How did you meet your wife? “I was working with Priyanka’s sister in a show and used to flirt with her. But she never gave any importance, but we became good friends. Later she introduced me with Priyanka and she used to sympathize with me”, says the actor.

“I know this sounds funny, but as time passed by, I realized that Priyanka is the girl with whom I would want to spend my life. After knowing each other for a year I proposed her for marriage. It’s been six years and this December we finally tied the knot,” he adds further.

How has life changed after marriage? “Well it is very difficult to describe the feelings in words. We have known each other since long. The only difference I feel is that whenever I get up in the morning, she is besides me and at night whenever I reach home, she is waiting for me. I used to live alone, so my house was a mess but now, when I return from work I see everything proper,” the actor concludes.
