These times of lockdown has certainly led multiple people to explore newer facets and while some of them can be hobbies, for some it has turned out to be more fruitful than others. One such actor has been Namish Taneja, who was last seen in Colors' Vidya. The actor has been in multiple shows over the years and his acting chops have been appreciated time and again. Now, it seems that he added another feather to his cap as he turned a writer during this period of lockdown.
Yes! That's right. Owing to the coronavirus outbreak, Taneja started penning down his thoughts and before he knew, he converted it into a motivational rap song with the help of his friend, Anurag Verma.
Opening about the same to ETimes TV, he said, "COVID-19 and the lockdown has changed the world dramatically and there is substantial uncertainty about its impact on our physical and mental health, well-being, our lives and livelihoods. Just like everyone, I was panicked when I started hearing bad things, about deaths, migrant workers, suicides, pay cuts and massive layoffs. But then I told myself, it's just a phase, and it'll pass. To uplift my mood, I started watching happy and inspiring movies, listening to motivational songs, and started reading positive things."
On what led him to come up with the idea of writing a rap song, he said, "I started penning down my thoughts and while I was doing all this, I decided to transform them into a rap song. It's a beautiful, inspiring rap song with full-on energy. I am sure it is going to motivate everyone during this difficult time."
He further added, "I have not yet decided, who is going to record and how I am going to release it. I am in talks with a couple of people, let's see how it pans out."
Well, it is always about making the most of our situation, isn't it?
