Namish Taneja Opens Up on Low TRPs of 'Vidya'

Actor Namish Taneja has had an interesting graph on the small screen where in the past four years, he has already been a part of four shows. In times when actors on the small screen would rather focus on having a long-running character in a long-running show, Taneja has been taking up unconventional projects since his stint in Swaragini.

Unfortunately, not all of them have entirely worked out where shows like Ikyawann and Main Maayke Chali Jaungi Tum Dekhte Rahiyo had short runs, especially the former one. Currently seen in Colors' Vidya, Taneja realizes that the numbers of Vidya too, haven't been entirely encouraging, but in an interview with an entertainment portal, Taneja mentioned that the show is doing decently well as compared to many other shows on the channel which hardly get a deviation in numbers. He agreed though, that the numbers have been lower than expected but mentioned that the whole cast and crew are working towards getting better returns and a turn in fortune soon.

Taneja concluded saying that he shares a great rapport with producer Mahesh and her co-star, Meera Deosthale.
