Nakuul passes 'the baton' to friend Shaheer and the latter is already feeling 'a big responsibility'

Yesterday, on March 15, 2019 Star Plus' popular show, Ishqbaaaz came to an end. The show which starred Nakuul Mehta, Surbhi Chanda, Niti Taylor, Mansi Srivastava, Shrenu Parikh, Kunal Jaisingh, Leenesh Mattoo ended after running for almost more than 2 years. The show became one of the iconic soaps of TV as it was quite different from the mainstream saas-bahu sagas. 

The show gave faces like Nakuul, Surbhi and others and the 10pm slot became famous for Ishqbaaaz. Now, after its end, Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke is about to take the place. It will have Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma in lead roles and it will be the spin-off of Mohsin Khan-Shivangi Joshi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai. While the show comes to an end, Nakuul Mehta pens a note to 'pass the baton on to' his 'friend & one of the brightest stars we have on TV, today', Shaheer Sheikh. He also mentioned that he is rooting for the Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. 

This has indeed created pressure on Shaheer and he knows it already. The Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi actor replied to Nakuul and wrote, "I know it's a big responsibility and we will try our best to matchup to the standards u guys have set (which is not gonna be easy) Thnx bro and all the best for ur future endeavours. "[sic]

Now, it will be interesting to see how Ishqbaaaz fans welcome Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.
