Nagma Mirajkar becomes the first Indian creator to walk the runaway of London fashion week

With the boom of social media, our favourite creators have been making not just themselves but our country proud too. And one such name that will soon be added to this list is of a very popular digital creator; Nagma Mirajkar.

Nagma, who is a popular name in the world of social media, is all set to make India proud. The creator is all set to represent our country on a global level as she becomes the first Indian creator ever who will walk the London fashion week runaway. Nagma will be walking for popular designer Archana Kochhar who has also become the first Indian female designer to be selected to showcase her designs under the Make in India campaign which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2014.

Talking to a media portal on the same, Nagma expressed her excitement and stated that she is excited to celebrate Indian heritage and womankind on a global level. Nagma said, “This showcase for me is all about celebration of womankind as I’ll be walking the ramp for India’s first female designer selected to champion the Make In India initiative at London Fashion Week. I am grateful for this opportunity where I can celebrate Indian heritage and women empowerment together.”

Representing Archana Kochhar’s designs under the Make in India initiative, Nagma Mirajkar will be walking the London fashion runaway as a show stopper along with Ananya Birla who is also a singer, songwriter and a businessman.
